Cannot set up new computer with Microsoft Business account

I just got a new laptop for a client that had Windows 11 Home edition on it. She has a small business so has a MS Business account. Since it was Home Edition, there was no option to set it up for a work account. So, I set it up with a local admin account (using the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** work around to avoid the microsoft account.) Then I logged in with the local admin account. I wanted to upgrade the laptop to Windows 11 Pro - which ironically you cannot do with a business account at the Microsoft store. So I had to log in with a MS personal account, purchase the upgrade to Windows 11 Pro for
