Guest sjg Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 hi i have three users: 2 administrators and one limited. 1 of the admins has a password, the others do not. however when i switched users and it returned to the welcome screen, it now requires a password for all the accounts. i have tried leaving the password prompt blank, my password, and other passwords, and am not able to login the any of the accounts. this is an intermittent problem, mebe happening 5 times over the past 9 months. what gives?

That way you can always access each account using the password reset disk. Try disabling Fast User Switching. You can also crosspost this to microsoft.public.windowsxp.security_admin if no one else here has any ideas on how to solve your problem.
