Hello Packman

Welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help

To be honest Adobe is bloated and a far better program is Foxit to deal with .PDF's

Foxit Software

I'd completely uninstall Adobe and get Foxit.

I personally use it Packman and would not recommend it otherwise.

Even though you have got a replacement, it is still good to resolve the issue. The issue is known to be caused by a corruption of a file named NTUser.dat in a User's account. To resolve this, delete the offending file in the User's account and it will be recreated. See if the problem is resolved or not. Good Luck. :)

By the way, Foxit is very good indeed for opening PDF files. I use it myself to get the task done.
