Guest Barry Karas Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 9:59 AM 9/9/2007 It takes extraordinarily long to manually update my computer. I do not want automatic updates -- I do not want unknown files being downloaded and installed on my computer. Because I do not choose automatic updates, I have to wait an exceptional time if I want to keep security current. Is there an alternative update site? If so, what is the maximum number of bytes that service provides? My browser is Firefox 2.006. Thank you, Barry Karas

Guest Unknown Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Re: Updates for Windows XP I manually do all updates. What do you consider to be extraordinary time. How do you connect to the net? Dial up, cable, DSL?
