Guest throwitout Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 The machine is running WinXP Pro. Currently the users can't be bothered to switch off the monitor when they are done with the machine, so it's configured to power off the monitor after 30 minutes. The problem is sometimes walking by the machine, or a truck driving by outside, will cause the monitor to switch on again. I'd like to set the machine up so that the only way to make it return from a monitor off state is to press a key on the keyboard, or less preferably increase the mouse sensitivity required. I've noticed the mouse isn't being moved very much because it will only switch on the screen, but it's not enough to deactivate the screensaver.
