Why does my download from OneDrive fail to complete?

I received a message one day ago that I had deleted files from OneDrive and that I should go to the OneDrive recycle bin to restore them, if I wanted to, or they would be permanently deleted in 30 days I had not deleted them, so far as I knew. When I went to the OneDrive recycle bin (using the provided link) it is empty; there are no files in the recycle bin at all.To be on the safe side, I decided to download what was there in OneDrive to my external HD as a backup.However, the folders start to download, but do not finish. The download freezes at a point, and I have no idea of how much mor
