Mistakenly move Desktop folder from C drive to E:\ Drive without Selecting A Folder for the Desktop

To create more space on the C-Drive, I moved the Desktop Folder to the E Drive using the Location tab under properties for the Desktop folder. (Done this many time before on other PCs)The problem is that this time I neglected to designate a folder within the E drive to place the Desktop so now the E Drive itself has become the desktop folder and it's entire contents now show up on the Desktop! Consequently, without a unique Desktop Folder in the E drive, I have no apparent way of undoing that.Any ideas how to fix this?
