Source: SideBySide Event ID:59 Description: Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFC could not be found and Last Error was The referenced assembly is not installed on your system. Source: SideBySide Event ID:59 Description: Generate Activation Context failed for C:\WINDOWS\system32\GizmoPluginCPL.cpl. Reference error message: The operation completed successfully. It could also be as benign as part of spybot search and destroy if you use it. I'd recommend a web search and see what comes up that might apply to you. The first several results on a search for sidebyside all sound similar to yours. I failed to provide a lot of attempts to solve this issue, including Lavasoft's Ad-Aware and F-Secure's online virus scanner... I even removed the GizmoPlugin key that appeared in the registry, and web-searched and read the posts on severals blogs and forums but I'm still having the same problem...
