Why did my PC become so slow all of a sudden?

Hello there! :)My laptop used to run very smoothly, even when I played some higher quality-needing games like No mans sky, and minecraft with good shaders etc. But now, after the update I think, even lower quality games hardly work anymore. Because it lags and is so slow, it makes it almost impossible to play. The search bar is slow too, and it takes some time for the PC to open the apps after i tap them. I have checked the internet speed, and the issues are not related to that, unfortunately. I have already tried to delete most of the stuff that I don't need anymore, which helped a bit. I sti
