ALT symbols repeat after space bar

Work Around for Duplicating ALT-### symbols in MS Word. There is a known issue with ALT codes in MS Word (such as ALT 0167) which causes the symbol to appear twice when you hit the next key (e.g. spacebar). Windows Forums keep closing on this kissue but there is no real solution I could find. For me, it does not happen in Word online (Office 365) or in other programs on PC (such as Chrome). It only occurs in the desktop verison of Word. I primarily use the paragraph symbol (¶) and the section symbol (§). There are were some workarounds I found, but I wanted simple since I use these symbol
