Guest MSExchangeStudent Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Hi guys Today all of a sudden when my users use skype there appear strange links in the conversation which they didn't put there and it goes from one user to another. The links looks like this http://www.myimagespace.net/erotic-gallerys/usr5d8c/dsc027.jpg http://www.fakme.org/erotic-gallerys/usr5d8c/dsc027.jpg http://www.ikaro.com/news/ict/virus_for_skype.html Do you guys maybe know if it is a virus or worm? I did post skype support but are waiting for a response. thought i'll ask here also as we are using XP and maybe a guru in here does know how to cure it. Craig
Guest Newbie Coder Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Re: Anyone know how to cure skype here MS Exchange Student, Not the first time I have answered your Skype related question. The pics don't display by the way & the HTML document references version 2.6 & not 3.5.0.234 released on 5th September As you are using Outlook Express you could always attach the files to your post, but shrink them first because no-one will download 2 MB pics If it's happening to everyone the possibly an encoding issue Why don't you just paste the rubbish that your users are experiencing or ask Skype Support (support@skype.net)? Make it for the attention of anyone but INDREK because she'll ask you useless info like 'have you hung your washing out lately?' If you look on Heatbeat (http://heartbeat.skype.com/) there are no issues, but you can always use Support (http://support.skype.com/) instead. Best thing will be to e-mail them though using the address above -- Newbie Coder (It's just a name) "MSExchangeStudent" <exchangestudent@newsgroups.com> wrote in message news:uoqzv448HHA.1204@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > Hi guys > > Today all of a sudden when my users use skype there appear strange links in > the conversation which they didn't put there and it goes from one user to > another.
