Cant join new Domain controller to existing domain

SO as the title says, I am trying to migrate my domain Controller from Windows Server 2012 r2 Win ser 2022.

 

I can ping the DC server fine. It resolves the name no problem. It could be something to do with the DNS files i am not sure. Any advice would be very helpful.

 

When I run this command "/dsgetdc:fabrikan.local" I get the following error

 

Getting DC name failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN
