My Azure Portal login does not work and the screen says my email does not exist.

I can no longer log on to Azure portal. I get the message that my login MAY be incorrect (why would it say "MAY"?) and that I should ask an admin. First, I know for a fact the login is correct, and why would it just say "MAY be incorrect" and not even give me the login screen?Second, I AM the admin. So I asked myself and myself advised me to ask this question.
