Offer Remote Assistance

Hi,

I'm trying to use Remote Assistance (Offer Remote Assistance Tool) in my

network. I have a 2003 Server and clients with WinXP. I've set up all policy

configs for both server and clients. I try to offer assistance to the clients

in the network, I start "Offer Remote Assistance" from the Help Center, the

put the computer clients name. I can reach succesfuly the client as I can see

the users connected to the computer to select which user I want to help.

After selecting I click Start Remote Assistance and I get the following error:

"Program cannot be started. Try it again"

Any idea of what the problem can be?

Thanks

Re: Offer Remote Assistance

Adding microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support. They should be of more

help.

Re: Offer Remote Assistance

At the beginnig it was that, but the error message was completely different:

"The host cannot be contacted"

After solving the firewall issues I had a missconfiguration in local

policies and the message was:

"The administrator has disabled this feature"

Now I can reach the computers and see what users are logged onto them to

choose who I want to help. But in the last step when the remote assistance

should be launched I receive the error message:

"Program cannot be started. Try it again"

Thanks... I'm stil looking for the solution....
