My Windows security was reset on my laptop. Now I can't sign into my laptop.

I have a dell XPS. I broken the mother board on my laptop and sent it back into dell. They fixed it, but reset windows security on it. Windows prompts me to sign into my school or work account, which I do but it keeps say my username or password is wrong. I am using my Microsoft email and password to sign in. Any guidance on this problem would help.
