I am unable to detect any external monitor on my Lenovo yoga laptop, please help!

Hello all, I have tried connecting multiple monitors to my Lenovo Yoga, using the same HDMI cord and different HDMI cords. I ensure that I have inspected the ports and cables for any damage and make sure everything has been plugged in correctly each time. No matter what I try, I am unable to detect a monitor. I have successfully connected multiple monitors to my computer in the past but it has been a year since the last time I used a monitor with this laptop. Is there any way I can remedy this? Thank you for your help! :)*EDIT: I snooped around in my device manager and clicked on the monitor.
