My laptop's highest resolution is lower than what it should be. How can I fix this?

To keep it simple, my laptop's highest resolution is 1366 x 769, when the resolution for this type of laptop (HP Pavilion Laptop 15 with intel iris xe graphics) should be 1920 x 1080. It won't let me change it any higher and I've already tried updating my drivers to the latest version, but nothing seems to be fixing the issue.
