Clean Win 11 install using an account alias - possible?

Is it possible to set up a new machine using an outlook.com alias as the login, generating a user folder matching the alias? I tried once but get some error stating “too many failed login attempts”. I’m not doing anything nefarious, I *am* the “owner” of the alias. That’s really it, so if you know the answer you can skip the rest. For those that want to know what the heck I’m trying to do and why: I have an alias that’s short and sweet, let’s say it’s joe at outlook.com (it’s not, just as an example).
