Excel Horizontal Scrollbar Buttons Stop Responding through TS

I have a few users testing out a TS environment, and found that in

Excel, the horizontal scrollbar buttons stop responding after 5-10

minutes. It occurs in more than one spreadsheet, and only through the

TS. Horizontal scrolling still works via the arrow keys (by navigating

to cells outside of the viewable area), and by clicking mid-scrollbar

to "jump" to that location. Its only the scroll arrows on the

scrollbar...and with that said...the arrows on the scrollbar disappear

as well. I've tried Tools-->Options, uncheck Horizontal Scroll Bar,

then apply...and then again recheck the horizontal scroll bar and

apply, but when the scrollbar reappears, the buttons are still

unusable.

Anyone ever hear of this issue, or had something similar?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Excel Horizontal Scrollbar Buttons Stop Responding through TS

TS uses bitmap rendering which can introduce delay and sluggishness in

displaying streaming media, scrolling, etc. which involves significant

change in display surface. The delay is more prominent when the server

machine or the network connection is slow.

If you can provide us with a specific excel file which is having this

problem, we can see if we can reproduce the problem in our lab.

Re: Excel Horizontal Scrollbar Buttons Stop Responding through TS

I can't provide a document due to confidentiality agreements with our

clients, but from what you stated, I would assume that the issue would

resolve itself once the required resources became available, but the

only way to "fix" it is to restart the application, at which time it

will be resolved only for an additional 10-15 minutes. Scrolling with

the arrow keys and clicking within the scrollbar on an open area still

work, the buttons (scroll left/right) just become unresponsive.

Vertical scrolling has not been affected.
