BSOD on reboot seemingly caused by WiFi card driver

I am recently encountering repeated BSOD whenever I reboot my desktop. The BSOD shows the error message "SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED" and boot cycles indefinitely, encountering the blue screen each time.Due to this, I cannot apply OS updates that require reboots.I can bypass the issue by fully switching of the power to the computer, after which it successfully boots.Following is a bugcheck report generated from a minidump file by WinDbg. The report indicates that the module causing the exception is "mtkwl6ex.sys", which is associated with the driver for my WiFi adapter (ASUS PCE-AX5400
