Difference between system crashes and bsod

Requirement:- I need to display on UI what all system crashes my device experienced(system crashes = kernel level crashes such that the whole device goes through an improper shutdown or something).Questions:- 1) Are all system crashes one or the other form of BSOD causes? 2)What is the best way to fetch these crashes.For BSOD:- I found two ways to fetch crashes:- through minidump/memory dump folders and through event ID's in event viewer. Both show inconsitent data to me in my opinion. I reviewed event Id's 1001, 6008 and 41.For e.g.) I tried crashing my windows VM using wininit
