fix for itunes for windows 11 asking for missing driver?

i have recently updated windows 11. it appears that i likely previously updated the phone within windows 11, yet for some reason, now itunes is asking for a driver.recently, windows asked me how i wanted to “open” the phone, and i said explorer. i do not know if it has anything to do with it. Yet it does not make sense to me that windows 11 would have the driver and then not have the driver. Please advise.
