I need help with Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) on my Network Adapter

Hello, recently my ethernet cable stopped working on my pc and the green light for it doesn't turn on anymore. The cable is fine, but I noticed in device manager that the driver for it had the error code 43. It's the Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller that has this error and I have no idea how to fix this. (It's worth mentioning that this happened the day after a storm hit.)I have attempted to Disable/Enable, reinstalling the driver, and checked for updates but still have not been able to resolve this.I would really appreciate it if someone can assist me in this!
