Why does a subfolder appear in the right pane, but not the left pane of Windows Explorer when moved to a different folder?

When I move a subfolder in the left pane of Windows Explorer to another folder, it is visible within the folder it was moved to in the right pane, but not visible on the left pane under the new folder it was moved to (I am unable to see the moved folder when the folders are expanded in the left pane). I must restart Explorer to be able to see the moved folder in the left pane after expanding folders. All files, including system files, are unhidden. I am using Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2, Build 19045.4894. This occurs on a WD My Book 3 TB remote drive that is mapped to the PC. The drive i
