How do I require password/pin when I put my PC to sleep or when it goes to sleep and wakes up?

I use to have this setting on before but I'm not sure what happened and I'm playing around with the power settings and I'm just not able to recreate it again so it's just better if I ask here. Anytime my PC went to sleep, the moment I turned it on or woke it up, the password screen would come up. Now something happened with an update possibly. Sometimes, I don't even use my PC for awhile and when I wake it up to use it, it does not even ask for my password. I'm already logged into my desktop. I want to set my PC again so that whenever it goes to sleep whether I myself click the sleep button or
