Why does my PC keep switching focus to the taskbar?

Hi all,My PC has been having this issue for two years now, and I have yet to find a solution. Every time I start up my PC, several minutes afterwards the PC will switch focus from the current application to the taskbar. I can tell when this happens because I have my taskbar hidden, but then I can see the tip of it peeking above the bottom of the monitor. When I am watching a YouTube video, media controls like spacebar and arrow keys will be disabled until I click on the video or ALT+TAB to my web browser window. If I am playing a game, even in full screen, I will lose all control from my keybo
