Heavy CPU load after installing MS Works on Windows 10 / 11

After installing MS Works you may find a large amount of cpu cycles are now used by a works calendar reminder program. This program no longer works and seems to get caught in an endless loop. This program- wkscalrem - is loaded at startup. If this program is running, you can kill it by using the Task Manager. To permanently prevent this program from starting in the future, click on the Startup Tab in the Task Manager. Then find a program named-- 4ebd23f5.exe (Surprising name)Now Right Click on this entry name and in the resulting pop-up menu choose Disable. This stops the launching of wk
