spotify app appears in start menu, but isnt listed under apps?

im removing uneccessary apps from a new laptop, and im confused as to why the spotify app appears in the start menu (right clicking it, it gives me the option to uninstall) but it does not appear in the list of apps in my settings page (settings>installed apps)very confused as to why this is.i have also uninstalled the microsoft news app, yet it still keeps giving me popups about fiscal trends and if i hover over it, it comes up with news page about sports and markets (not interested!)if someone could explain why, that would be great. i havent used windows in a long time and ive never used
