Why does nothing on my pc work/load

I start up my computer normally and its fine and normal for like 10 minutes but then after that, nothing works or loads up. no applications open, i cant close them either. the blue loading circle doesnt even move it freezes but i can move my mouse around and click onto the window menu and i can also open task manager but then it wont let me close it. i try to click restart or shutdown but it just doesnt do anything. ive force shutdown directly from the computer multiple times, ive also scanned for corrupt files and fixed them but the problem still occurs.
