Guest bens.google@chu-brugmann.be Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Hello, We have an 2k3 domain with Windows 2003 Server Enterprise SP1 and i setup a policy to enable proxy settings via User Configuration - Windows Settings - Internet Explorer Maintenance - Connection - Proxy Settings. Where we enable proxy settings , use the same proxy server for all adresses and do not use proxy server for local (Intranet) addresses. I enable that policy for some workstations and it's working. But we have 2 problems: 1- When we go to local addresses like Intranet websiet or SAN http managment we pass trough the proxy. 2- If I disable this policy the proxy settings stay evn after gpupdate and reboot. Thank's to help me. KR.
Guest mattsjazzband@googlemail.com Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Re: Policy : Proxy settings Hi, 1. You need to add some proxy exceptions in to your GP you have made. I've added for my NAS, Intranet etc etc 192.168.*.* so any traffic going to the 192.168 subnet does not use proxy. 2. Domain GPO will always stay and the most restrictive used. Now you know the answer though don't worry about this :) Enjoy.
