The following info provides some context to my question. We just recently migrated a production data file server from a Windows Server 2008 R2 virtual machine to a brand-new Windows Server 2022 virtual machine. We currently map the file server network drive using a group policy. When the 2008 file server was mapped, the group policy was mapping the full UNC path to the file server. However, as of right now, we are mapping the group policy to a newly created file server namespace of our local AD domain.
