My computer was stolen. Advices would be greatly appreciated.

My Zenbook laptop was stolen. I’ve declared it to the police by providing its serial number in addition to the necessary information they’ve asked.Regarding my account, it’s signed in my stolen laptop. I tried to lock it but it didn’t work, the prompt replied that it will try to lock again and will notify me regarding that (I’m guessing that doing so would require internet connection on my stolen computer).Should I removed the stolen device from my Microsoft account ? Or do I wait in the hope that local authorities might find it knowing that I have Windows Hello (face id), PIN, and password en
