Microsoft account stays logged in even after logging out

I couldn't find a suitable place for this question, so I went with "Windows."The short if it: my Microsoft account stays logged in even after logging out, on Chrome browser, Windows 10. No matter how many times I sign out, everytime I go back to accounts.microsoft.com my account remains signed in (I don't need to enter any username/password, it's just still signed in). The only remedy I've found is to delete all history and cookies for live.com, microsoft.com, and maybe a couple other domains I don't recall right now --- but that's not a true remedy.
