Why cant i open maps?

So, every time I click the map on my computer, it takes me to msn. But when it opens the map, it just takes me to the homepage. Every time. Other things work, but the maps won't even let me open them. Instead they re-direct me to the home page over and over. I'm stressed and worried about the hurricane and want to know more, but without my map and radar I am completely blind. Please, how do I resolve this? My PC is updated, drivers updated, and I use MSN's website since I dont have any other devices to use it with.
