Guest bill Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 only pdf files on usb hard drive appear corrupted on one of my computers; mp3 appear fine I have a usb hard drive formatted as ntsf file system with both mp3 and pdf files on it. When I look at the pdf's with ultraedit or any other editor computer A files look fine showing readable text starting with a % pdf Computer B the files appear as jibberish. MP3 files look fine on both computers. Both computers have xp pro service pack 2. Any suggestions. I've found others that are having the same problem.

I've found others that are having the same problem. > I can think of a couple of possibilities: - Acrobat Reader is corrupted on one of your machines. - One of your machines is infected with a virus that targets .pdf files.
