My mouse clicker has completely dissapeared ive tried the things ive been told to its not working

Mouse Clicker (by this i mean the triangle thing some times pointing hand which you control with you touch pad) has dissappeared Like its just not there at all just to note i have a touch screen hp pavilion laptop but half the screen is cracked theres no issue to the screen itself just the glass but it means i cant use half the screens touch screen and I have never used a physical mouse. Began a few months or so back but its become a major issue now bc i have to make powerpoints (course work) when I interact with the touch pad click on the touch pad there is no clicker deos not even appear.I
