Why don't the apps launch until after I click the "show hidden icons" at the bottom right?

Hello,Some background, I'm currently running a fresh install of windows 11 pro on a new NVME. Previously had windows installed on an older smaller SSD but I've decided to upgrade. I am still using the SSD as additional storage, but the system files aren't fully cleaned from it not sure if this is impacting the issue i'm reporting.As for the issue itself, I noticed that whenever I attempt to launch an app that's also part of my startup (so it may already be running in the background and in the hidden icons on the bottom right) I noticed that nothing opens? but when I click the bottom right "sho
