How to create custom resolution not in display options

Hi I am having trouble creating a custom resolution. My monitor takes 2560x1440 but that is not an option in display. I tried using CRU but the resolution doesn’t show up in display after I add it. I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3000. 11th Gen Interl® Core i5-11357G@ 2.40 GHz 2.42 GHz
