Can I boot a new computer from my existing Windows 10 drive, and then upgrade to Windows 11?

My current PC is not compatible with windows 11. There does not seem to be a way to easily transfer data, apps, and settings to a new machine running windows 11. Can I physically move my 2TB SSD (or its clone on a 2TB HDD) to the new PC and boot windows 10 there and then upgrade to windows 11, thus retaining most of my settings?
