Guest Laughingstar~* Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 I checked this on Goggle w/o any luck...What does this warning window mean: Ox7c9106c3 referenced memory Ox6c14f6fa? It opened up while I was doing a spell check on a NG post. I have an HP Professional Desk Top computer, 2 years old in October, on which is XP Pro Sr 2, Office 2003, all updates current (including today's to scan my system for "malicious" invasions from MS...which I really didn't want to do, but... I use Avast, Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, and Windows firewall is ON. Nothing has shown as a problem in any of the above. Thank you... aka Puddintaine

I don't have an answer, but there are many hits on Google Groups. http://groups.google.com/groups/search?q=0x7c9106c3+referenced+memory&qt_s=Search Since, if you add Office, or Outlook to the search (the two I suspected), there's no hits, I wonder if it's a hardware or memory problem. I didn't look through the eight hits on the error message though. Click Start, Run, type SFC /SCANNOW, click OK. If any files are damaged or missing, they'll be replaced. You may need to reboot afterwards so damaged files will be replaced. -- Joe =o)
