Hello,

 

We are a small company with a network of up to 16 users. We recently purchased a new server, Windows Server 2022 license, RDS licenses, and User CAL licenses. Until now, we managed everything in-house, but the server migration is beyond our capabilities. The company handling our migration claims that new User CAL licenses must be managed through Active Directory and that it’s not possible without it. Is this true? Can User CAL licenses be installed outside of AD? Alternatively, how can we set up users on the new server as we are used to via the Control Panel/Users?
