Trying to sign-in a new child account but it says "need an app to install for this task"

I just created an new child account and now trying to sign-in to my computer with the account. It tells me that I need an app to install for this task and asks if I want to search in the Microsoft store. When I click yes it just proceeds back to the sign-in window all over again. Under Settings>Accounts>Family options under Family Members it shows that the child account "Can sign-in" but when I try what I described above happens.
