My administrator user was removed from admin group and I need to reimage the laptop.

hi all, Hoping i can get some help on this. I already called lenovo support and microsoft worked on my setup for an hour or so. The admin user was inadvertently removed from the admin group and there are no other admin users.The current operating system is running perfectly other than this. Should I use my old backup and restore from a week ago (10/17/24) or do a fresh backup (with whatever backup tool or the same backup and restore tool) prior to reimaging or will that image be corrupted? (I also have file version backup once the system is back up and running that has the latest updated fil
