The SQL Server internal linked servers talking to other internal SQL Server linked servers work on Primary node but linked servers on the Primary node talking to external servers of other provider types do not. All Linked Servers on the Secondary node appear to work if you connect directly to it. If you connect to the listener, you are accessing the Primary node, and your linked servers will not work.
