After Win 11 update, right-click does not work on some items found on Start (Context?) Menu - suggestions?

After Windows 10 (Pro) to Windows 11 (Pro) update, left-click selection now does not work on some items found on Start (Context?) Menu accessed by right-clicking the Start button - specifically: Event Viewer, Device Manager, Disk Management, Computer Management, Task Manager and File Explorer although any/ all of these programs will run if accessed in other (more convoluted!) ways. Other items on this menu, eg Installed Apps, Power Options, System, etc work correctly when selected. I've tried Win 11 Repair, DISC, SFC and using latest drivers (I believe). Help! Thank you.
