XP License online / delivery time ?

Recommended Posts

While working on an old XP system box for a "friend," and MS updating it, up

popped MS's "...this copy has been stolen etc," so I did the online

hot-fix and duly coughed up the £63.45 for a license code and did the

hot-fix, and during the procedure I'm sure I saw, in as many words,

"...you'll get a XP cd in the post." MS sent me an email saying that it

was shipped on the 6th, no sign of a disk yet. Anyone know where it comes

from or how long it takes ? ...also, I'm sure I saw in the news that there

are postal strikes going on in the UK somewhere !

regards, Richard

Humm, Stateside I got a CD in 6 days(with a Please allow 14 days

disclaimer), but If strikes are involved, it may take the full two

weeks. ;-)
