Hacked and don't know what to do next

Hey so my laptop was laggy so I checked my folders and found that my C had become super full, so I checked why and found 2 copies of windows folders, one on the 23rd of July and one on the 31st of October (today) made 20 minutes ago (around when I started my laptop). I googled it and found a thread where they recommended downloading malwarebytes and running it with the rootkit scan option on so I did that and it found 33 files, I quarantined and it told me to restart so I did, but now the screen is frozen and the fan is off (it was screaming during the scan lmao) so.. how do I recover from thi
