Briefcase and PDF files

I am having problems ONLY with PDF files not being recognized by Briefcase,

and not ALL PDF files; only some. It seems as though they are somehow

flagged as 'do not include'. I get no errors or prompts, they just don't

go...

 

I posted here because XP is what I'm running on all my machines (3) and they

all exhibit this peculiar behavior. I can provide copies of those files that

work and those that don't...
