PC disjoined from AD Yet retained account name from AD, why?

Hello all I have a windows 10 device which I've removed from our Active Directory. But after reboot the login name presented is still my accountname from AD. I don't have the option to change to the local account. I'm unable to do anything with this device now. Does anyone know of a way to force a blank username field to appear?
