Hi all,

All of a sudden, when I have several applications opened I am no longer able

to open / maximize app's window by clicking its panel on the Taskbar. The

window simply will not get focus and the only way to get to it is by

minimizing all opened windows.

I searched the groups and couldn't find any anwer. If this question has been

answered before, I'd appreciate the link.

Any suggestions welcome!

TIA,

Michael

That's been mentioned here before. You're right, there's been no answer

yet. This happened to me yesterday; I minimized the two other windows

to see the one that wouldn't come forward, closed it and reopened (by

clicking Reply again). It worked fine the next time. Specifically, it

was an NG reply using Thunderbird. The other two opened windows were

Thunderbird and Firefox. I mention what window, wondering if it's a

malady specific to Thunderbird, since its Reply window sat back behind

the other windows, even though it was brought to focus when its Taskbar

button was clicked. You know it's highlighted (somewhere) because the

Thunderbird window in front of it changed to the inactive color. This

window isn't off-screen either; all my Reply windows open in the same

spot, in the same size.. as did the following window after closing the

troublesome one.
